Veritas Venture Capital is a new venture capital company dedicated to providing access to capital for micro enterprise community-owned businesses in Africa. Through micro finance loans ($500 to $1000) to loan groups ususally comprised of four to six women business owners, businesses can be established creating jobs, profits, skills training and, most importantly, families are cared for.
Veritas believes in the New Tax Law in South Africa which is Section 12J of the Income Tax Act providing for a full tax deduction for any investment into a venture capital company in South Africa which is dedicated to supporting SMMEs (small, mid cap and micro enterprise businesses.
